- The portrait on the reverse of the coin has been remastered by Gordon Summers, Chief Engraver at The Royal Mint
- The reverse has been engraved with radial lines that catch the light when the coin is turned to create an aura of elegance and permanence
- Accompanied by bespoke packaging that explores the story behind the portrait originally designed by Mary Gillick
- The obverse of the coin features the official coinage portrait of His Majesty King Charles III, uniting mother and son on the coins of the realm
- Dated 2026, the centenary year of Elizabeth II’s birth
