Description

FIREWORK GLASS STUDIO EXPERIENCE – AUTO WIN 24/03

What you’ll do

Experience the heat of the studio and take hold of the blowpipe to make your own pieces. With guidance from Izach, choose your colours and design and work molten glass into something special to take home.

This 90-minute session is ideal for one or two people – and it’s also available as an experience voucher if you’re looking for a gift with a difference!

During your glass blowing workshop, you’ll make three or four pieces. These could be paperweights, vases or whatever else takes your fancy. Some may crash to the studio floor in a hot mess or crack in the kiln, but that’s all part of the fun!

Once your pieces have had a day to cool down, you can pop back and pick them up. Or, if you can’t make it back for whatever reason, we’ll post them to you.

What’s included

Meet your host

Izach is a professional glass blowing artist with over 12 years of experience under his belt.

Born in Plymouth, his early inspiration came from live glass blowing demonstrations on the Barbican – something every ‘90s kid from the area will remember fondly.

Fast-forward a decade and, after spending a few years in Hong Kong and then Munich, Izach studied art and glass blowing in Chicago. This led to a role at a local glass blowing studio, where he began teaching classes and creating his own pieces.

Since then, Izach has worked at glass studios in North Carolina and New York. And now he’s back in Devon with his own family-run studio, ready to introduce his passion to anyone and everyone!
